Fit Kids’ License for Fitness
If your child is between 10 and 14 years of age and is able to participate in sports programs, he or she is ready to enroll in Prime Time's Fit Kids’ License for Fitness Program. This unique program provides the proper instruction and training, which will allow your child to use appropriate cardio machines and do weight-resistance training using free weights and or machines. The purpose of this program is to teach the proper mechanics of resistance and aerobic training as well as proper athletic club etiquette.
The program includes individualized instruction and training with a personal trainer. You and your child will meet with a trainer for a health assessment and program orientation. During the training session, your child will receive instruction on the appropriate equipment. Once your child has successfully completed the program, which requires a parent to accompany the child during their workouts, a license will be issued to the child that must be worn during each workout. The cost of this program is $99. For more information, contact Fitness Director Cathy Firkins at ext. 613.
