You may have a clear idea of how much you weigh, but do you know your body composition? Body composition is the technical term used to describe the variety of different tissue types. The so-called “lean” tissues, such as muscle, bone and organs are metabolically active, while adipose, or fat tissue is not. Although there are several different methods of assessing the percent of fat versus lean mass of an individual, one of the most convenient and least cumbersome is Hydrostatic Body Fat Testing.
Date: Tuesday, October 30th
Cost: $49.00 Test / $39.00 Retest
Hydrostatic Body Fat Testing is quick, easy and very informative. The method involves a hydrostatic water tank and trained professionals who will interpret your results. All you need to do is provide a bathing suit and towel and not eat two hours prior to testing. You must be able to put your head under water for a very short period. Testing is private, comfortable and completely confidential.
You will gather information to help you achieve your goals. A four-page report is provided to each participant with the following details; your body fat and lean mass, long term health prognosis, body fat percent for optimal health and a personal caloric intake and expenditure chart.
Get the facts with the Body Fat Test! Mobile Hydrostatic Body Fat Testing is scheduled to provide their services to our members on Tuesday, October 30, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. The cost for this test is $49.00 and to retest is $39.00.
